Hogumathi Premium
Hogumathi is an Open Source app for Twitter, Mastodon, YouTube, RSS/Atom, and potentially more in the future. It's meant for power users and creators and their IT staff.
Why purchase it here if it's open source? This purchase will unlock early access to new releases ahead of the public release, which has a cadence of 1-2 weeks. This is a business to business focused product, so we prioritize functionality over appearance, productivity and analytics over socialization for pleasure.
The code is licensed as AGPL, meaning you are free to do anything you wish with it so long as you distribute the code to any non-private version that you run (private versions may be changed to the heart's content, including by freelancers). We retain full copyright and are mindful of licensed components, and are able to offer commercial agreements.
Right now:
- YouTube portion is very new and rough but works for most read access.
- Twitter was the primary platform and worked pretty well, right now an alternative approach is being developed. It is derisked and partially working.
- Mastodon is copy and pasted from Twitter, partially adapted.
- RSS is new and somewhat works, some hard coded things in code.
- FeedItem is the core abstraction, several other backends are partially developed.
While we can prioritize support to Early Access subscribers and want to make the product excellent, we also offer a guaranteed response plan.
